Zusammenfassung / Personal Summary

I am writing to express my interest in the advertised position through your organization’s career portal. With a strong technical background in fuel cell systems testing, automotive component development and electrochemical process and component inspection. I bring a comprehensive and hands-on approach to testing and validation within advanced mobility technologies.
Alongside my studies I am currently working as a Student Assistant (HiWi) at INEM Institut für nachhaltige Energietechnik und Mobilität Hochschule Esslingen while completing my master’s thesis which was completed on 23rd September 2026. My research focuses was the electrochemical characterization of Proton Exchange Membranes (PEMs) and Anion Exchange Membrane (AEMs) by using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) with
particular emphasis on Nafion 211, Nafion 212 and PiperION membrane conductivity measurements using the Scribner 740 Membrane Test System. My work involves through-plane conductivity measurement testing, Nyquist plot analysis, equivalent circuit modelling, fuel cell water management investigations, experimental design and validation, as well as
comprehensive data analysis. Through this work I have developed strong expertise in laboratory experimentation, electrochemical testing, scientific data evaluation and technical documentation.
In my recent role as an Intern Fuel Cell Bipolar Plates Testing at Zentrum für Brennstoffzellen Technik GmbH (ZBT) Duisburg. During my work at ZBT GmbH I gained hands-on experience in fuel cell laboratory operations including the fabrication of PEM fuel cell bipolar plates using hot-press embossing processes and the optimization of flow-field geometries. I performed high-precision thickness and surface characterization using FRT optical metrology systems conducted quality inspections to identify micro-cracks and surface defects and generated detailed testing and
measurement reports. Furthermore, I contributed to experimental procedure development, laboratory equipment operation and structured research data documentation enabling efficient traceability and evaluation of experimental results. These experiences have strengthened my technical, organizational and analytical skills making me well prepared to support laboratory management, experimental development, equipment commissioning and scientific data
organization in a full-time Laboratory Engineer role. I previously worked in the Assembly and Testing Department for Fuel cell System at Cellcentric GmbH & Co. KG Esslingen am Neckar, Germany. where I supported the recommissioning and optimization of test benches for in-situ
testing of fuel cell components. My responsibilities included setting up test infrastructure, executing test setups for fuel cell systems and developing structured test procedures and protocols in alignment with SAP DM documentation requirements. I consistently analyze test data to improve fuel cell system robustness and contributed to the definition of
End-of-Life parameters. My technical expertise includes Stack Heiß Testing, High Voltage (HV) Testing, Leakage Testing of Stack Assembly Modules (SAM), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and End-of-Line (EOL) testing. Additionally I performed complete flashing of FCU, FCI, ETC, and HRB units while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Prior to my current academic and research activities I worked as a Mechanical Test Engineer at Quader Al Kher Est. Saudi Arabia where I was responsible for the testing, validation and development of automotive components. I developed test plans and protocols ensured compliance with technical standards and collaborated closely with design teams during product development and prototyping. Additionally I gained
experience with engineering tools and I am Confident in handling of HIL systems and common measurement and evaluation software LabView, INCA Complementing my technical background, I possess strong data analysis and reporting skills using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau enabling effective evaluation and communication of experimental and engineering results.
Thank you for considering my application. I have attached my resume for your review and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my qualifications and experience can add value to your organization. I look forward to the possibility of an interview.

Sincerely,

Waheed AnjumMughal
