For our Family & Lifestyle business you are expected to closely monitor the market on any new trends and advise on possible new categories, products & (sustainable) materials used.

You will be working closely with our category manager and Brand & License manager, creative people and consumer & business intelligence team to come up with several new categories per year.

Execution/evaluation will be done based on a clear strategy written by yourself in close cooperation with the management team. Potentially you can become the new head of Family & Lifestyle.

  • Scan the worldwide market for trends to predict future trends that can be connected to a (new) category
  • Develop & execute innovative and sustainable product category strategy for Family & Lifestyle
  • Assures products meet corporate standards for quality and functionality as well as unique product standards.
  • Responsible to review and assure that all costs are checked and in line with our margin goals. Continuously looks for materials, methods, and techniques to assure costs and margin goals are reached.
  • Clearly communicates testing requirements, pricing goals, and quality requirements to the vendors.
  • Keep internal team updated on the status through the development and redevelopment process.
  • Understands the rules and regulations to achieve the outlined standards to ensure compliance to brand, regulatory, and other standards.
  • Directly responsible to assure the accuracy and maintenance of the bill of material information on all tech packs.
  • Continuously looking for innovative products, materials, trims, and colors that meet the needs of the mission statement.
  • Conduct pro- & cons analyses to ensure we have the right assortment for our clients with limited risk for the company.
  • Translate local market needs as identified by local sales offices into possible categories
  • Support sales in client pitches
