Scatec is a leading renewable power company, delivering affordable and clean energy worldwide. As a long- term player, Scatec develops, builds, owns and operates solar, wind and hydro power plants and storage solutions. Scatec has more than 3.5 GW in operation and under construction on four continents and more than 500 employees. The company is targeting 15 GW capacity in operation or under construction by the end of 2025. Scatec is headquartered in Oslo, Norway and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol 'SCATC'.
In their approach to insurances Scatec has grown from a fully centrally externally outsourced (to a global broker) and fully locally internally distributed solution to the current centrally coordinated (but still with strong reliance of local teams) and in-house managed (but still with strong reliance on external broker) solution. To support the future accelerated growth in number of projects, countries, technologies, and investment modes, and to deal with the current challenging "hard" insurance marked, Scatec sees it necessary to take the next step toward an even more centralised and specialised management of the insurance procedures, with even more integration into the enterprise risk management processes. Hiring of its first dedicated and senior Insurance Manager is a critical part of such next step. There is a strong preference for this position to be located in the Scatec office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the second-best option being Oslo, Norway.
