  • As the Finance business partner, support development and preparation of strategic plans, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly updates
  • Drive efforts to establish market transparency through market segmentation & market sizing, competitive analysis, customer financing, value based pricing, etc.
  • Ensure quality planning for market related business cases by applying robust financial planning techniques and pressure testing underlying business assumptions
  • Support and provide guidance to Market Managers in the formulation of targets that balance new order bookings, revenue growth, operating profitability for their market segments
  • Assess business performance and results against both the annual budget and long-term market strategy. Proactively identify and communicate areas for operational and financial improvement within the market segments
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization within the functional area. Understand key product line operating metrics and measure functional performance to the established goals
  • Key member of the team, establish productive working relationships across group finance functions as well as within Regional Finance and the Unit to facilitate effective information sharing. Appropriately balance Market segment perspectives in developing forecasts, and provide transparency into business drivers, risks and opportunities
  • Provide business insight through the effective use of available tools, systems and processes to generate critical financial and operational data. Supply regular and consistent business reports of agreed-to metrics and KPIs to foster visibility and accountability for business results. Make actionable recommendations to Market management on strategy and operations, using solid planning, forecasting, predictive analytics and results monitoring
  • Responsible for the financial planning process on market segment level, including quarterly and annual forecasting and results reporting. Improve decision quality through cogent business analysis to identify the best options to enable the Group to meet its goals
  • Contribute to the development of standard financial processes, with a focus on implementing common financial processes and practices globally across the Group
  • Responsible for maintaining the appropriate environment of internal financial controls. Ensure the consistent implementation of Corporate's accounting policies throughout the Market segments. Accountable for accuracy of financial results on market segment level in accordance with US GAAP
  • As needed, lead or participate in important Group initiatives related to change management, transformation, restructuring, M&A and others
