HR & Admin Supervisor (Hamburg Based) Job Overview The incumbent will be responsible for effective human resources and administrative services for the Hamburg office including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, staff mobility and office administration as designated below. Job Responsibilities Assist in talent acquisition, staffing, manpower planning and manage the entire employment life cycle Update, edit and terminate the staff information, ensure data integrity and accuracy. Produce regular metric reports for management reference Administer HR procedures for local staff joining as well as coordinate orientation program with Learning & Development Department Work together with Learning & Development Department to ensure that all identified training needs are delivered, complied with and duly recorded for each employee Instigate staff recruitment and selection process in accordance with the manpower plan so that vacant positions are filled with suitable candidates promptly Coordinate with mobility agent to deliver high level of services for expatriates, and ensure the cost effective mobility program Assist in the completion of and compliance with local and national governmental procedures related to employment with Wallem Hamburg for all employees Provide necessary guidance and assistance to all employees related to tax, social, medical insurance and personal indemnity contributions Responsible for payroll calculation assisted by external payroll provider, staff benefits & leave administration in HR system     Responsible for personal data update in HRIS, performance management system, ensure the accuracy and integrity of personal data Assist in the administration of and compliance with GDPR Perform full spectrum of C&B functions and master the related projects Keep abreast of latest employment-related ordinances to ensure compliance with legal requirements Maintain the company’s salary and job grading structure and perform regular salary review and market remuneration exercise to ensure that the company salary system is competitive Provide administrative support to the Admin Assistants at reception, and in exceptional circumstances, to those involved in vessel operation administrative tasks Job Requirements Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline Minimum 3 years of human resources and administrative experience preferably gained from multi-national companies Well-versed in employment-related laws in Germany Positive can do working attitude and willing to work independently Attentive to details, good analytical and problem solving skills Sound business acumen and the ability to understand the business and the HR value proposition to the business Good interpersonal and communication skills Good command of written and spoken English and German If you have the drive for achievement, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply in strict confidence with your full resume and contact details. IT Support Assistant (Hamburg Based) Job Overview The incumbent will be a member of the Infrastructure team, responsible for IT infrastructure of the Hamburg office and managed ships calling in Europe. Primary responsibilities include PC & Network fulfillment, network operations, communications and system security ensuring an environment that puts the needs of the business users first and delivers excellent customer service to the internal customers.
